This item is 1 Ames U.S. Army original equipment folding shovel. This is a very light, compact and strong shovel. It is a very well built shovel and is in great condition. The shovel is manufactured from high strength steel alloy with 2 serrated edges. The handle is made from lightweight and strong aluminum alloy tubing. This shovel folds in several different positions by turning the base of the handle. This is a high quality original military made shovel that is great for camping and outdoor activities.

This shovel only weighs slightly over 2 lbs and is easy to carry. When folded, it is 6" wide by 8.5" long. When opened in the straight position it measures 23" long.

This shovel is black in color.

This auction also includes a used, but good condition mating digital camo pouch to store the shovel in.

The pouch can go on a belt or be attached to virtually anything including a backpack.
